Navajo Rug
When I was a kid my mother use to support the family by making woven rug purses to sell. She was an amazing work horse that would do all the spinning the wool, weaving it and stitching the pieces together. The thing that she was most proud of was the silk lining that she put inside. I think it was her element of surprise that made her work marketable. My job most nights was to work out all the knots on her back at the end of her busy day. I never really understood how she did this day after day even on sick days without complaining. Today I'm still amazing at what type of woman she was and is. I don't think I'll ever put the Navajo Rug series to bed.
